Aid from Victim Support Netherlands
For many parents, the consequences of the mistakes made with childcare benefits have been immense. In addition to financial problems, parents may also have social and psychological problems. At the request of State Secretary Van Huffelen, Victim Support Netherlands (Slachtofferhulp Nederland) provides aid to affected parents. This aid is provided at no cost.
Should you wish to do so, you may approach Victim Support Netherlands for:
- Emotional support
- Practical aid and advice
- A sympathetic ear
- Referral to the correct municipal assistance organisations
You will receive support from one of the staff members of Victim Support Netherlands when you apply. These staff members are trained in providing emotional support and helping to reduce stress. Victim Support is well aware of the problems parents are facing and are therefore able to quickly provide suitable aid.
